10 most venomous snakes

10). Australia brown snake



This snake is also known as the Australian Western brown snake.
 it has glossy black upperparts, bright red or orange flanks, and a pink or dull red belly.

 It is not an aggressive species and generally retreats from encounters with people, but can attack if provoked. Although its venom is capable of causing significant illness, no deaths have been recorded from its bite.

9). Rattle snake




 This is an American based snake.These snakes are predictors and the tend to hunt down smaller animals like Rodents and birds.when faced by a potential predictors or prey.

These rattle snakes uses it’s tail to make a rattle sound. This tends to disarm and discourage it’s prey or predictor  from making a move. 

The Rattle snake injects it’s venom into it’s prey paralysing it.


8). Philippine Cobra

  The Phillipine Cobra is a medium length snake. These snakes can expand their ribs.but mostly when it feels threatened.

They can spit their  venom  to prey 3-10 mitres away .Their venom can cause Respiratory paralysis, toxicity or even death to it’s  prey. This could happen in half an hour.
Symptoms include-nausea, headache,dizziness, abdominal pain, diarrhea, colaspse .

7). Death Adder



These snakes are most found in Australia (new guinea) they are viper like with a short body and a tranglar shaped head.They have the quickest bite in the world as they can strike and return to position in less than one second.

The Death adder releases between 40-100 milligrams  of venom in one bite and 
cause paralysis or death within 6 hours. 50% Of the Death Adder’s victims did not survive the strike.






6). Tiger snakes


This snake is Found mostly in the Southern regions of Australia, thes tiger snakes can kill it’s victim in as quickly as 30mins or as long as 24hours after a bite.
Symptoms of bite from a Tiger snake includes- pain in the foot, neck, numbness, tingling and sweating, difficulty in breathing and paralysis.
The tiger snake first instinct is to flee when it encounters a preditctor. 
But attacks when it feels threatened.




  5). scaled Viper




These snakes are usually found in Asia and sometimes in some places in India. 

They are one of the most aggressive snakes in the world. 

They are usually very short tempered too as they’re quick to attack.
The like the wet grounds as they’re often active after rain fall.
 The viper are very fast snakes to. They are quick to strike with little or no warning at all. The viper’s bite is very painful as it leaves it’s victim in exquisite pain.





4). Black Mamba


These snakes are found mostly in Africa. It is one of the longest snakes  that are venomous.as they  are up to 6-15 feet.

When they feel threatened,the mamba tends  to spread it’s black mouth,spreads it’s narrow  neck-flap and hisses.
These snakes are highly venomous as the bite could deliver death to victim within 15 minutes to 3 hours of bite. Depending on the nature and area of bite.

3). The Inland Taipan 





 Its  said that one bite delivers enough venom to kill a hundred fully grown humans. Or 10,000 guinea pigs. 
Although very shy, it can strike up to 7 times sequencally.The venom when injected into it’s victim causes paralysis on the nervous system and clots the blood,blocking the blood vessels. Death usually occurs from 30mins – 1hour. 

 2). Blue kraits

This snake is the deadliest of it’s species.death rate of victims is 50%. 
Their venom is 16 times more effective than that of a Cobra-. These snakes are more vibrant and active in the dark. The rather hide themselves than attack.
Sometimes regardless of any anti-venom administrated, it takes it’s victim 6-12 hours to give up and die.




1). Belcher  sea snake 




These snakes are found in the Southern part of Asian and in mostly in the northern Australia.it has the most venomous venom a snake can ever have as 1,000 humans can get killed by just on single bite .
It is a gentle snake and attacks mostly people who pulls it out from water along side dishes. 

They are rarely found on ground. The breathe air but they can also seize breathing for more than 8 hours while in water. Victims of the Belcher’s sea snake takes 30 minutes or lesser to die.
