 Beetroot and it’s health benefits 

    Beetroot (Beta vulgaris) is a root vegetable also known as red beet or just beet which are known for their earthy flavor and aroma. Beets are rich in different special nutrients including folate (vitamin B9)which helps cells grow and function properly. 

Vitamin B9 also plays a key role in controlling damage to blood vessels, which can reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke. Beetroots are highly nutritious and packed with essential vitamins, minerals, and plant compounds, many of which have medicinal properties.

There are numerous types of beetroot, many of which are distinguished by their color — yellow, white, pink, or dark purple.

Some health benefits of beets ( beetroots)

 1) Lower Blood Pressure : 

    Research has shown that beetroots or their juice can reduce blood pressure by up to 3–10 mm Hg over a period of a few hours therefore it can be used to control blood pressure .

2 ) it increases stamina 

Beets and it’s juice helps the heart and lungs work better during exercises and it also increases blood flow to the muscles.

3 ) prevents heart diseases and stroke

Beets are heavily enriched with different special nutrients eg (vitamin B9 ).

5 ) beets can help fight against cancer cells 

Tho there no much proof to support the idea of beetroots fight against cancer cells, however Some animal studies showed tumour cells reducing thanks to beetroot’s betalain pigments – and another human cell study found the same effect when used against breast and prostate cancer cells.
