HOW TO COOK JELLOF RICE

 How to Cook Nigeria Jellof Rice 

Steps:

• Per-boil the rice

Put a substantial amount Rice in a pot, pour water and let to boil for a while. (10-20 mins)

• Make sure you Jellof ingredients are ready. Ingredients includes:

Tomatoes paste, Groundnut oil, onions,salt,pepper (preferably fresh) Maggie, Crayfish/stock fish/smoked fish,Tyhme.

• Put a dry empty pot on the stove and add a balanced amount of groundnut oil, Let it steam then you add your already sliced onions, stir and let it dry a little.

 • almost immediately, you add the tomatoes paste.

• Stir

• Leave the mixture a while till the tomatoes paste in the mixture begins to burn, making dry and changing the color.

• Immediately add your ingredients (salt,pepper, magic, crayfish and any other seasoning you deem fit . 

• Add water to the mixture, stir properly and add the already per-boiled rice into the stew and let it boil for another 10 minutes.

• You can vanish your food with vegetables such as Carrots, carnage or even egg
