Motto is usually a short sentence written after the title of the Brand and the Logo. It simply states the purpose, belief, idea and aim of the Brand.
A company slogan expresses what makes a brand or product different, better and bigger than the competition brand. There are certain things to consider while creating a Slogan for your business or brand.
• Keep it short and simple.
• Be consistent with the slogan, changing your slogan from time to time will only confuse your audience/clients.
• Focus on what makes your brand different.
• Make it timeless. …
• Be certain it can stand alone and yet makes sense.
• Consider your target market while creating a Slogan.
Examples of a Slogan

– Finger lickin’ good (KFC)
– For everything else, there’s MasterCard (MasterCard)

Identify your target Audience/Customers and know your competition.
You should know your customers, what they like, how the like it, infact the knowledge of their behavior is necessary- their reactions to your product/services and why they reacted that way. This is so you can be able to meet their needs.
Who your “lowest hanging fruit” customers are—the ones you could most easily sell to.
Who your top-of-mind competitors are—the brands that are established and known in the market.
Know your competition, stalk them, be aware of everything they do. know everything about their services.
Note- no need to copy your competition just knowing their procedures keeps you ahead of them and different from them.
