This is one of Brazil most nortorous prisons. This prison is home to some of the country’s vicious criminals and gang members. In the past 20 years, this prison had had 10 serious riots.

Because of the over population of the prison, it is just on Guard securing up to 80 inmates. This prison is home for notorious gang offenders, rapists and murders.

The building is made up of 9 facilities and it holds more than 8,000 inmates. The living condition in this prison is really bad. They’re constantly being maltreated and the use of extreme force is necessary to make sure every inmate is inline. Although the prison food isn’t Nutritious, the Inmates in this prison can cook their own food individually with their own food stuff.

Home to Rapists, murders and most deadly serial killers of all times. Here prisoner can roam around the facility even at night, provided you abide fully by the rules. There’s total freedom within the walls of the prison.

The Zhytomyr prison has for sure seen better days. But now, it’s known for it’s poor infrastructures and management. Since the fall of the soviet union in 1991, the prison has been poorly managed.

In five years Ukraine has had more complaint Prisoner abuse than anyother Nation.

I’m 2014 when a pro-European government came to power and introduced more Prisoner liberty, prisoners have been given more rights, or should I say, they have been given more liberty. Unlike before, where there was a strict Supervision and control.

Almost 200,000 square meters, this Prison  is like a mini city, with an industrial zone with facilities for metal work, and sawmill but no Prisoner is forced to work because of the new policy adopted by the government.

There’s a maximum section in the prison were the worse criminals are kept in total lockdown. Over 200 of them locked up in the section. It is called Colony 8. Also there’s a solidarity confinement where Prisoners who were caught with alcohol are kept for 2weeks alone and locked in their cells for 23 hours a day. Prisoners in the Zhytomyr prison are allowed conjugal visits for 3days, once in two months.

In 110 years on their existence, there has been no record of breakout from the prison.
